The most incredible is that there is still american people who, when they see the cost increase of something because of tariff, ask why the originated country like Canada/China/name it didn't pay the tariff? And someone explain to them that tariff are paid by the final customer, not the manufacturer in the country of origin, and they answer something like "isn't this illegal?"
Same in Montréal, it's a fucking island and everyone lives outside of it, there's not so many bridges so it's 1h each way or more.
yep, I work in Montreal, an island... crossing a bridge the morning and the evening is 1h in summer up to 3h in winter (one way!!!). At least since COVID I WFH, save 2h+ a day.
time for a tax audit, he never paid taxes!!!

It reminds me I sold a LS120 with some floppies for it, I barely used it 20 years ago, I tested it and it was still working fine, I put the lot for 10$ on marketplace and a few minutes after someone wrote to me saying "I WANT THEM!" he needed one for a server setup in a company that still used LS120 and put an alert on marketplace for it. He was super happy and told me I saved his life :)
I put them on marketplace, in case someone need some parts, for instance an old dell tower with an i7-3770, 16GB RAM, a somewhat standard radeon, for 50$. If it is not sold after a few months it goes to the recycle center.

Yes I think this is the plan, didn't trump gov said it already, that tariff are to finance tax cut? Tariffs basically collect billions of $ from millions of people to finance gov programs, this is a tax, and the 0.01% keep their billions $ for themselves.
