And as a result they've been going on a rampage simultaneously driving up the fear of each and every type of creature, creating an army of super bug/rodent devils, who for some reason have converged on our protagonists.

I think she genuinely thought the ability to see the future was impressive, but that it didn't affect her because she had no intention of following him. Could also be that she would have thought the ability to be burdensome, therefore she seemed disinterested.
