There are cases where I ask someone to play something like TF2 and don't wanna voice chat and I don't get that, like it makes me feel like we're not even interacting at all.

Yeah LineageOS tends to be hit or miss, the project is maintained by volunteers so dont have high expectations.

I had a Xiaomi phone for where phone calls were very laggy on LineageOS. I'm currently on OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5g using LineageOS and works wonderfully. To avoid ending up in situation where LineageOS doesn't work, next time look up info about a particular phone: XDA forums are good.

If you ever can, I'd recommend GrapheneOS as it has best functionality.

Edit: a word

Ultimate 2 Wireless is great, I've used it for a while for gyro gaming. Just FYI you need a Windows or macOS to update the firmware so you can use it.

The problem here is if EU's governments see the developers being communists as problematic, despite the fact that you're correct.

Lemmy being dominated by self proclaimed communists makes it something they'd avoid.

What phone? Phone's aren't usually so repaireable, unless its some old one.

Haha the first part of the question is quite a Reddit-like question, better to ask how pragmatic or fanatic one is in usage of free software.
