Except they didn’t. Even more than before, you need vulnerable and crit on everything to compensate because they are in different buckets.

They lowered the build variety.

Lowering numbers doesn’t fix anything here, it’s the formula itself which need to be changed. Or they could put diminishing returns so people would use vulnerable / crit until they hit those caps and use other stats for the rest.

Right now, the only thing they achieves is lowering dps for every single build.

I can understand the point for tiny studios or indie games.

AAA studios on the other hand are pathetic to cry about it, they have the money, the reknown and the time to make quality games and not shitstains and decide not to.

Time to be held accountable and suffer the comparison. FromSoftware was able to make a massive great game just like Larian. Activision, EA, Ubisoft, Epic Games have no excuses.

I’m planning on not playing this season and wait until Blizzard try to make the game fun again.

Until that time (probably season 3, or never), I have Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield and Hollow Knight to have fun.

They pretty much nerf everything. They try to force player to use +physical/bone/etc… instead of stacking crit/crit dmg/vulnerable without understanding that if we focus on those, it’s also because it’s simple to figure out.

There are way to many affix, most people can’t tell if an item is an upgrade or not because of it. Instead of fixing this, they add even more useless affix and nerf the useful ones…

We’re increasing the availability of the Affixes below to make them easier to include in different builds.

I swear it’s like they don’t want people to have fun. It feels like WoW all over again when they added useless stats like resilience.

I’m amazed that they didn’t learn anything considering how old WoW is, they should know that what’s gonna happened is people making softwares to do the maths instead of them.

No tinkering required, technically you could achieve the same result with regular Firefox + tinkering.

It’s as simple out of the box but with a greater focus on privacy with telemetry off and the pocket integration disabled.

Or even better, a fork of Firefox which disable all that telemetry crap and bundle with uBlock Origin : LibreWolf.

No shit, check the list of countries who cut informations from their people and you’ll easily understand why it causes a backlash.

China, Iran, North Korea to name a few.

Every day, we stray further away from democracy with Macron. Le Pen is gonna win next time and it will be mainly because of him.

You have to be so candide to believe in this. Scrappers didn’t appeared out of the blue yesterday, if it was to fight it the company would have warn the users about the coming changes.

It’s obvious that’s it’s an emergency change because of him not paying Google Cloud while trying to push for Twitter Blue.

Bitwarden.

I used to think the same for WhatsApp, Spotify, Twitter and Apollo but they can all be replaced by alternatives (Telegram / Signal, Amazon Music, Mastodon, Memmy).

I know about Keepass but it’s definitely not as convenient and easy to use as Bitwarden.

I don’t use YouTube app because of ads everywhere but I would have trouble stop using YouTube on my computer.

It’s a big deal. Minecraft is a huge community, most of the big YouTubers or Streamers become big because of it or Fortnite.

You also have to remember that it’s Microsoft behind Minecraft, it’s the second GAFAM after Google which is unhappy with the situation.

It’s definitely gonna affect the IPO negatively.

I think it shows that the great migration from Reddit is actually happening. After the 1st of July, we can expect to see Lemmy growing even more since the changes on Reddit are gonna be in full effect.
