Congrats on missing the point and making it about yourself instead

Interesting how they continue to blame the pirates, devices, DRM, and everything else they can think of, but never the fact that content is getting spread across more and more services and prices keep going up.

Their greed in chasing profits is fuelling the very problem they’re trying to fight.

The cat hair moustache puzzle in Gabriel Knight 3 is pretty infamous, for good reason.

Because hours of play has no direct relationship with completion. Playing for 100+ hours doesn’t mean you’ve finished the game.

It’s well known that video games today are disposable pieces of slop.

Kicking off an article with such a provably incorrect and inflammatory statement is certainly a choice.

I tried playing Fire Warrior a couple of years ago - it’s dreadful. Reviewed poorly at the time and hasn’t aged well.

Saying it’s a basic, linear FPS and shouldn’t be judged against genre-(re)defining greats is one thing, but even on those terms it stinks.

Are they not archived in Flashpoint?

Didn’t this literally just come out?

Fun! Only thing that sticks out to me is that three 5¼-inch drives seems excessive. Would’ve been nice to have at least one of them be a 3½-inch instead, but that’s just a nitpick.

(I’m assuming they’re just blank fascia plates either way.)

Right? If it still works then it still works.

If the article was talking about anything other than tech/software, we’d be praising its longevity.

GURPS is neat in its own way, but this is just about someone fixing one specific mechanic in D&D. Provided they’re ok with the rest of the rules, switching systems wholesale (especially to something as famously fiddly as GURPS) just because of how they handle injuries would be absurd.

I really enjoy Amanita Designs other games (Samorost, Botanicula, CHUCHEL) but somehow completely missed this one??!

We can view all our upvoted (or downvoted, saved, etc) posts & comments from the account page, but it’s just a simple chronological list.

I’d like to be able to filter the list, particularly by community or by user.

Example use case: I want to be able to easily see every post I’ve upvoted on !outofcontextcomics@lemmy.world without having to scroll past everything I’ve ever upvoted anywhere.

There's a little globe icon added in the bottom-right corner of external links, so you know that tapping the thumbnail will open a link rather than an image preview, but in its current form it's hard to see against darker thumbnails.

The posts I've highlighted with arrows in the image are both links, but it's almost impossible to tell.
