Satisfaction == larger

Could be something like dillusion or confidence that relates the penis satisfaction and the fun ownership.

Mmmm…. I think the title may be a bit strongly worded, but the concept that a big data company like Google isn’t doing what you expect them to be doing with your data…. Despite clear efforts to do so… that’s kind of concerning.

Like it’s cool that they have this DB and that things like this are getting fixed, it might be nice if they were more transparent about this… but it seems like they’re trying. And yet, so many privacy issues crop up due to the shear quantity and variety of data they process.

I hate those “necessary evil” teachers.

Mushroom lesson I did says that looking under the cap, spore color, what tree root system it’s growing in, can give you a really solid ID

lol, that’s hilarious. Never heard that one before.

There is no error or anything when you try to make a post without logging in, it simply sit there w the spinning wheel until you hit cancel. It should prompt to login before user is allowed to compose a post.

And

When logging in, visually, it appears that the instance field defaults to lemmy.world, however the field is treated as blank

And and

Had to navigate away from login page after the above issue left the page in a faulted state and wouldn’t let me press “login” again after filling out the instance field.

This is such an important feature to me, as a person who really likes to engage in back and forth comment conversations, timely responses are immensely helpful, and only feasible with notifications.

I’m aware there are on going costs, personally I’m happy to pay a couple of bucks a month for push notifications alone. More if other features are also included.

Wish I could zoom in more on this image, ideally till it fits the full width of the screen, for this particular image.

Still trying to figure out reproduction steps, but it happens frequently.

I get a push notification for a new comment reply (from another lemmy app) while browsing inside of Avelon. I click inbox and see no new reply.

I go to pull to refresh, but it won’t refresh, no icon or anything. Just scrolls.

Workaround: I switch from all inbox to unread and then I can see the new reply.

Edit (via bean): Seems that all pages, inbox all, inbox unread, and the post view will only refresh once per load. And have to be navigated away from before they can be refreshed again.

This riddle wasn’t very much fun when viewed in the app:

I rewatched an old but good video on the war on drugs. And it reminded me, that tlaw enforcement is AT BEST 1 step ahead of some criminals. But that the criminal element is always rapidly adapting, and the best thing we can do against drugs and crime is to focus on the demand side.

We legalized the drugs, but didn't do the more important half of that solution, treatment and services for the drug users.

So, why aren't we doing more? Who dropped the ball? Are we doomed to just keep throwing more law enforcement at the problem?

Almost immediately in episode 1, I felt like it was a completely different show. Cinematography doing weird things, script feels written by AI, maybe a angsty teen at best... 3 episodes in and I'm not sure I want to even continue watching it.

Totally worth a recurring paid plan, it’s one of the key features for me, as it enables much better community discussions.

I’m often participating in multiple conversations at once. So it’s particularly necessary to go to the original context when reading a comment reply.

However, when I get a new comment reply, I click on it in the inbox to go to the context, it appears to try to load the context and scroll to the right spot but if the thread has more comments than fit on a screen, then it just scrolls down one page, and stops scrolling before loading/displaying more comments. This means I have to do a lot of scrolling before I get to the highlighted comment.

It’s actually quite annoying.
