Why would I pay the government to collect a pool of money to pay for other people's medical needs?
Much better to pay a private company to collect a pool of money, skim a bunch for profit, invest the rest for more profit, conspire to make healthcare prices unaffordable to users so they don't have a choice anyway, and then use that money only to pay for some of the other people's medical needs while denying healthcare for the rest, including myself? I didn't find the nurses figures on the link. Within 10% is similar for doctors, but 300% of the nurses is a big difference for sure.
Not to mention a family of 4, which would amount to $4000, which might be a 10% increase in income, not including the 30% that's already been taxed out of that $300b.
