I can't wait for it - I've been following James Turner's art for a while, and it translates astonishingly well to a game! Also the main mechanic is really neat too.

Dang, I can see how that would take forever! The final result looks fantastic though!

Woah that's a fantastic aesthetic! How'd you get the 3d effect? Is it padded or is it just different yarn lengths?

Absolutely - discord is probably one of the worst choices to host a "discussion board" type page for those reasons. They are well on the path of enshittification too with all the bloaty unnecessary features they've added over the years.

The forum-like structure is also helping a ton, I think I'm just not a fan of the micro-blogging format lol.

Yeah that is a really tricky thing, even if those communities decide to go "we're moving to ______", they will inevitably be leaving behind a lot of their userbase, and be giving up a large amount of SEO and discoverability. The large number of users is what gave reddit its value, so I can only hope that groups that might disperse find a central place again. I definitely don't envy the position this leaves moderators in rn.

For me it would be discovering what I think is being dubbed a "recall-evator", where you take two objects, lift one up with ultrahand, stand on it, recall it, and lift up the other object at the same time. Then you can alternate between them, recalling and ultrahanding as far / high as recall will record. I used it to lift myself over a wall blocked by a puzzle in one of the shrines - it is a bit tedious but very busted.

This is great to hear! Unfortunately the reddit exodus will likely splinter a bunch of niche communities, but it will definitely be for the best. I'm all down for the "de-consolidation" of the internet!

Hi, thanks for making this instance and post! I think one of the main things that prevented me from grasping the fediverse when I tried mastodon out earlier was not knowing about the common Activitypub protocol. The e-mail analogy that was being used didn't quite click for me, so I'm happy to have a much better understanding for this go around! Here's to greener pastures!
