Why does this happen? I feel like the stupidest person in the world 90% of the time. Log into work and our PostgreSQL server is about to fall over. I don't know PostgreSQL, I didn't setup the server and I generally don't have anyone on to help me, but I manage to execute a complicated fix before it implodes. Then I go back to forgetting where I put my phone down every thirty seconds.

I just got diagnosed a year and a half ago or so. Reading other peoples stories has really helped me reflect on the past and put every thing in context.

I wish I was a good enough dev to write a swift keys replacement. There's AnySoftKeyboard available, and they're doing an amazing job with swipe input which I prefer, but there's only so much one person can do.

I can't help you with stock market stuff unfortunately. To be honest, I wouldn't want to have to deal with the headache of it all myself. If you're still interested in writing a bot though a great way to learn is to pickup the programming language Python. There is a ton of free material out there for beginners. A good first project for when you start to feel comfortable is writing your own discord bot. If you're interested I can try to find some links after work to share!

He's written a lot of fan fic style stuff that's present in the library as I'm sure you've seen. It's a good light read within the context of the game, but yeah. I don't think it's enough to carry a movie.

Edit: I've removed myself from almost all media besides lemmy, do we have an eta on the haunted chocolatier game? Just wondering. I want him to develop it on his own timeline so we get something he's proud of.

Edit 2: Just saw that there's no release date so he can work in peace without all the deadline pressure. I'm glad he's setting boundaries. I feel like we'll get a better game in the long run because of it.
