Imagine if your doctors earning 300k a year decide to strike to demand 600k a year and people are dying left and right as a result

Uh, yeah, that's basically what the people who get paid that much do. They say "I want more money", and then they get it because they are too important for employers to freeze out, or are valuable enough to get hired practically anywhere the second you let them go.

Turns out strikes are just that, but instead of one person, it's a bunch of people!

  1. Trans rights will keep getting better in blue states who give a shit and worse in red states regardless of who is president
  2. Last time I checked, Biden is doing nothing about abortion, again, blue states who give a shit will do what they do no matter who is president
  3. Yeah Trump is probably gonna be worse, but Biden isn't doing any meaningful reform
  4. See above
  5. No clue, so can't comment
  6. lmao
  7. LMAO
  8. Just kill me already
  9. Probably better than Trump, but I think the bar for that is 6ft underground
  10. What the fuck does this even mean? Also, like, no? Biden has completely ignored COVID.
  11. Sounds unlikely 12 and 13 are mutually exclusive. You can't militarily support a genocide while also being in favor of ending said genocide.

The war has been going on for 8 months and we've known aid is not coming in fast enough pretty much the entire time. Why didn't they simply start construction earlier?

Do liberals even believe that Trump is that much of a threat to democracy and the US?

I've been thinking about it, and I kind of wonder, like if you had an absolute and unshakable belief that Trump was going to destroy democracy in the US, and that the destruction of democracy in the US would lead to the destruction of society as a whole.

Well why hasn't anyone tried to do anything naughty to Trump yet?

Of course, if you don't believe Trump is going to destroy democracy, or if you don't think that the destruction of democracy is that bad, then who cares. But it seems like liberals truly believe that American society is doomed if Trump is elected, so why haven't they taken that last step?

Unfortunately she is wearing a mask which means any and all sympathy the American public might've had for her is now gone.

What's the problem with the diabetes drug? Is it just because the fat person didn't ask? Also damn, I feel awful for people who have these kinds of doctors, I feel lucky cause I've never had to deal with a doctor like that.

I mean, what do you do in a drive through when you get to the window to pay and it's like 3x more expensive than you expected? Just drive away? I'm sure that's what people would argue, while completely ignoring that it's a massive social taboo and 99% of people would just pay because of social pressure.

Also, what happens if the place starts making the food after you order, but before you pay (so you can get your food more quickly and efficiently!). Have you committed theft, or defrauded the business by deciding not to pay? I mean probably not, but I'd hate to be the first person sued to test if it holds up in court.

Yeah, but have you seen Swifties? God damn...

Sure, but Planetside 2:

  • Was specifically designed with that goal in mind
  • Still runs like shit with loads of people

You're right, but I feel like even without the hyperloop, the government (or other rich fucks) would find some way to avoid building a train line. Trying and failing to build a hyperloop was just a convenient excuse.

Well since Hawaii is controlled by the US, they can't ask for help from other countries, and the US won't ask for help from other countries either.

I can't say for certain if Hawaii would seek help from others if it was independent, but I feel like it's a pretty good guess.
