Exactly, and in my opinion. Heroic feels easier to use than lutris for me tbh (though I am open for suggestions relating to launchers other than lutris or heroic)

How hard is it to install gentoo anyway, and how would someone install anything on it. I've literally never used gentoo and the only distros i've used are linux mint, debian, fedora (not my cup of tea), arch (archinstall) and EndeavourOS (current) so i'm curious about the world of gentoo

Oh! KDE is mentioned in this comment, i actually do use KDE! I use EndeavourOS (i don't want to install arch the manual way or use archinstall... btw) with KDE Plasma and it's one of the best desktop environments i ever used.. i still like cinnamon which is the first desktop environment i used but after i tried out Plasma, i never went back. i might try Kdenlive first because of the fact that i do use KDE Plasma.

I might still test out both shotcut and openshot to decide which one i like more if that makes sense, thank you for your reply!

A community store..? I didn't know something like that existed for kdenlive, i kind of want to check it out just out of curiosity.

I remember someone said they had an issue where kdenlive crashed for them or something like that and it made me think kdenlive is prone to crashes so that was why i was unsure.

Now that i think about it, i wonder if it was just a problem occurring to them for some reason.
