I got sick of some of the various Invidious instances taking 5+ refreshes to load a video, so ended up installing my own instance and its been a much nicer experience

Would instantly unsubscribe, leave negative reviews and never stay there again.

Blocked reddit on my router, to prevent accidental clickage - no intention of going back there at all

This sounds amazing, definitely going to add this to my servarr setup next few days.

I'm not 100% sure on how Lemmy works with federation, but isnt there a risk of illegal content being mirrored to your instance if someone here hits a post from the bad server too ?

This article covers it in depth.

It's a different answer for someone already invested and paid up for life on plex though than it is for someone looking to do their first install.

It would be really handy to have posts auto marked as read on scroll like some other clients do, makes keeping a fresh feed basically guaranteed.

Ad free is the only way for a service im paying anything for. If they introduce ads then i will no longer be paying.

Have a look at the **arr range of apps

Sonarr and Radarr with NZBGet, usenet indexer and a cheap unlimited news server provider, and you're laughing. I have everything downloading automagically as soon as its release, loads right into Jellyfin - all on a copyright notice keen ISP and never have any issues because im not sharing anything up, its all down with usenet

Woke up on Monday and my Pixel 6 Pro wasnt quite fitting in the case while i was checking news while having coffee on the morning. Pushed it in and it didnt seem to fit right. Took the case off to find it had turned itself into a spicy pillow and was splitting along the side. Was 1 month inside warranty, messaged support who told me it was wear and tear initially. I made it quite clear i wasnt accepting that and there wasnt even any way that internal adhesive failing would be wear and tear, never mind battery expansion. They agreed to replace it with a refurb as a goodwill gesture, how very nice of them. I upgraded the same day to a S23 Ultra and have sold the refurb to a reseller.

I have a bike which currently has 26 x 1.95 / 47 - 559 tyres on it

I want to replace it with some of the Fincci puncture resistant, closest i can find is 26 x 1.95 / 50-559

Are these going to fit on the wheels ?
