I get periods like this then feel guilty and end up making more work. Do you just relax and switch off? I wish I could. Got any tips?

I’m gonna go with this tutorial I think, but make the carrots myself. https://mysweetsavannah.com/diy-easter-carrot-wreath/

I’m a huge fan of wreaths for seasonal holidays. I have found one I might make in advance for Easter. Who else is making one? Please feel free to share what you have going on.

My first thought was who do these people think they are, but they no longer people, they are greedy entities. There is no place for that in social communities. It’s not ideologies and it’s not intellectual. It’s up their own ar$3 ideas about ruling the plebs. Viva la revolution, plebs unite.

Agree great an achievement now tainted by a narcissistic claim. I notice her insta comments are turned off so I guess she has had some backlash. She should have been respectful of the locals and who else has done this.

Interesting concept. Over the last few decades we have seen cigarettes/vapes alcohol, small plastics etc come under scrutiny as they harm people’s health. But there are physical objects that harm physical health.

Advertising is much more subjective I tend of what constitutes harm, and mental health is again still on the back foot compared to body health.

In some places we have seen bans on cigarette adverting and even bans on cigarettes. So at a small scale it can be implemented.

I loved ads as a kid. It shaped my career, but it’s an out of control monster that needs looking at. I am growing to hate it.

I would pay not to see that sub. Joking wouldn’t pay a penny to Reddit. Why would anyone.

Is it general gibberish or is there a fuck reddit gibberish? That would be fun.

Just in time for spring and all the bird song!

I’m new here too and keen to see what my other crafters would like to see here. Who fancies joint this adventure with me.

I’ll start with something I would like to bring along. I am gonna make the effort to collate some good craft tutorial sites and forums. Shine a light on those who take the time to show others their creates and skills.

So what would you like to see? Or what could you bring?

Crochet is my second. Currently between homes, my pencil case of hooks and some balls of wool are easy to keep close and take my mind off everything.

For me its sewing, I come back and forward, and its just so adaptable.

I am just on crochet at the moment moving house and everything is in storage. I have been dying some yarns and bleaching some yarns though to make something new from something I don’t like.

Oh I haven’t seen that. Thank you.

I am trying to consume less in my life and also spend a little less, because one of the few voices I have is spending and its better in my bank than a corps. I have been trying to either buy used, or buy better value items, and or avoid plastics etc.

I am stating to notice what can only describe as small barriers, I know its just inconvenience and habit but I am hoping for some suggestions that can help me overcome the hurdle.

As an example I have been trying to buy some new utensils, I would prefer nice ergonomic ones metal and wood. But when I try reviews there is so much sponsored/ click here to buy blogs. Its hard to find decent reviews, when tying to choose and under consume getting the right thing researching is an important step. Even then purchasing decent quality is dominated by big stores amazon/dept stores etc. I was looking at OXO good grips but they are still heavily plastic and they only have decent ranges in amazon or John Lewis. Its not about the utensils, its more the barriers inbetween. I have enjoyed these conveniences that have now trapped me in a way.

Another example when trying to buy used items, it is so hard to do this without marketplace.

Anyone else feeling this?
