Lemon and olive oil sounds good as a sauce, did you add any other spices?
Here's the recipe I followed - I eyeballed a lot of the measurements but that's the basic list of what I put in mine.
For the vegetarian version I used beyond beef/sausage and vegetable stock instead of what's listed there.

I'm planning on having some leftover pasta from the batch I made yesterday (just made a post with it if you want to see). Probably won't be doing too much cooking because my wife is traveling for work a few days this week. I made a pork shoulder this weekend that I'll be eating off of though.
