Let us know what you're cooking and eating this week!

Also sorry this is late... I was hardly at my computer at all yesterday.

I'm planning on having some leftover pasta from the batch I made yesterday (just made a post with it if you want to see). Probably won't be doing too much cooking because my wife is traveling for work a few days this week. I made a pork shoulder this weekend that I'll be eating off of though.

Every now and then my grocery has a frozen duck with the chickens/turkeys so this is a kinda special/unusual meal for me. I do a honey, lemon, balsamic glaze on the duck and it comes out delicious. The recipe I follow is here!

Made this earlier this week because my wife wanted steaks and the bacon onion jam is her favorite. She also grew these potatoes in her garden!

I cooked the steaks sous vide to medium, then seared them when we were ready to eat. The jam is maple bacon, onion, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar. The potatoes were boiled, cooled, then smashed and baked in the oven with some parmesan on top.

Bacon and blue cheese with a bit of mayo and mustard! I pressed a bunch of patties and froze them last week, and just cooked the beef from frozen. Tasted great!

Anything from mundane to magical - let us know what you’re eating this week!

I prepped and froze a bunch of smash burger patties last week so we’ll be having burgers at some point. I like bacon and blue cheese on mine. Might do some tater tots on the side.

Garlic stuffed olives

This better not awaken anything in me…

That's very cool - what else do you keep on your farm?

I have a duck in my freezer that I may need to start thawing now...

We've been playing Camel Up a lot. It's nice because there is some skill and a good amount of luck involved, so no matter your board game experience, you have a shot at winning.

Agricola is my favorite but it is pretty complex so we don't play much.

Dang that sounds good... I've only ever had chicken and waffles kinda plain

I love cooking with stuff my wife grows in her garden. I need to make something with cilantro soon cause apparently she has a lot of that.

Lemon and olive oil sounds good as a sauce, did you add any other spices?

Here's the recipe I followed - I eyeballed a lot of the measurements but that's the basic list of what I put in mine.

For the vegetarian version I used beyond beef/sausage and vegetable stock instead of what's listed there.

Was trying to update my avatar and now it is gone, and when I try to re-upload, it gives me a javascript error in the bottom left corner. Not sure if it is just me or a more widespread issue. (Browser: Edge)

It was actually my first time making them, and they were better than I thought they would be! I recommend pepperjack cheese on top if you make some

Made these this last weekend, it was my dog’s birthday and she loves stuffed kongs, so I made us all a human version! I melted cheese on top at the end but I didn’t get a pic of that. The yellow ones are a vegetarian version.

Hm... I can't seem to find it (on iOS at least). I love that game, haha I'd play every day too if I had it on my phone

Right? I'm kinda surprised that I haven't looked at Reddit once today.

I really liked him last year. I hope they can figure out something to help him make a comeback but it's not looking good for now...
