Any of us could be Murderbot really, gotta imagine most of us hate their job and only does it out of obligation, and would rather watch all day if they could.

On one hand its not violating the Emoluments clause now I guess. On the other? Christ it looks cheesey.

If they're milking their own cows at 4 A.M. and complaining that there's no migrants to do the work, then one has to wonder if it's because they couldn't hire a citizen at the rates they were paying. If they can't hire a citizen at the rates they're paying well...

Was never keen on Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks because of the control schemes... loved Okami's brush though, go fig.

Are you trying to tell me that pushing to re-elect a guy who was falling apart at the seams and currently has advanced cancer, who previously won by virtue of the other guy's approval rating being in the toilet... then replacing him with someone who would have been completely blown out in a primary at the last minute so she couldn't even mount a good campaign who then got hobbled by her PR team into not mounting any sort of attacks of any meaningful value... are you trying to tell me that they did something wrong???

The Drum Tower - reportedly the largest in China - was built in 1375 during the Ming Dynasty but had undergone an extensive rebuild in 1995.

600 years of doing fine with the building standards at the time... 30 with the modern fixes. Tofu Dreg shit right there.

If I had to choose between a bomber and something like r/jailbait (which was the medias first big look at reddit) as the sites big first exposure to the world, I'm going for the bomber every time.

I'm of the opinion that MLK Jr. was largely successful because folks saw the alternative was Malcolm X... and they still fought MLK Jr. tooth and nail.

One might be weirder then the other but that doesn't necessarily mean that they're a full on weirdo. I think a group has to get to 10-20 before we get someone close the edges on that bell curve.

Having been to the antinatalist subreddit back when I still visited the other place, I can say there were deffo some weird folks in there and that as a matter of statistics I could see one or two being that far gone. This also applied to most of the other anti-thing places there though, ex. Two million subscribers to r/atheism, that's two "one in a million" whackjobs.
