The system is designed so that mob rule doesn't happen. Unfortunately it's also got the effect of allowing the majority to be ruled by the minority. It's a system that's difficult to fix. Realistically we need RCV first.

More than 40% of the USA alone is obese. No where near that many people are obese because they are taking stimulant ADHD meds. It's great that you lost weight, but a very massive portion of our population is obese because of their eating habits and sedentary lifestyle.

O damn never thought of it that way. I went and looked it up further and you're spot on, it seems it was put into the movie to make people become farmers and not look to space. Basically try and solve the problems on earth.

This is the one thing that kills me with one of my favorite space movies, interstellar... they have that one scene at the school saying the landings were faked to bankrupt the soviets...like how the fuck did that make it into the movie.
