Thermal grease can last for a good while now. The older stuff would cake up and not be able to transfer heat as well. New stuff is pretty incredible, I retired my AM4 build about 6 months ago, and I'd had the same CPU in it for around 5 years without changing the paste. Pulled the cooler and it was pretty much the same consistency as when I put it on. This was some kronaught stuff.

Todays AI is clippy on steroids. It's not intelligent or creative. You can't feed it physics and astronomy books without the equation for C and tell it to create the equation for C. It's fancy autocorrect, and it's a waste of compute and energy.

Just listen to the audio book. It's read by ray porter and he nails it.

I really hope he keeps to the story, cause the martian was ok but they holywooded the shit out of it, and removed a lot of the stuff that made it a great book.
