I do recall an article back when Trump was going on about Greenland that indicated one of the distractions being tossed around to get him away from that idea was to strike Iran instead. It's possible those cooler heads in the Pentagon offered this up as an alternative to the US invading an ally.

Looked it up and the source of that tidbit was The Daily Mail... So grain of salt. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/army-chiefs-trying-to-distract-trump-from-greenland-invasion-plans-as-infighting-grows/ar-AA1TZRf7

I liked the UK and EU not getting involved for a whole day until they have to defend the surrounding nations that were obviously going to take fire. Why even act like you aren't about to get involved?

I regularly delete my account and make a new one. You can do so without removing old posts and comments.

And at lemmy.org they don't require an email. So you can have less data tied to your account(s).

Echoing another user's suggestion of using Foobar2000. You can also do it by album so the quiet parts of the album remain quiet in relation to the other parts, as they were intended to be.

Create a playlist in Foobar2000.

Add whatever folders.

Select all.

Right-click and go to replaygain

I always choose "scan as albums (by tags)"

and then when it's done scanning click the button to adjust replaygain in the metadata.
