The slaughter of the indigenous population and settling of the west was the direct inspiration for Nazi wars of aggression and elimination of the Slavic population in Eastern Europe. The arming of Nazis in Ukraine and genocidal Zionists in occupied Palestine - what mask? There is no mask. It's outright an open fascism.

Former vice president of Ecuador, Jorge Glas was arrested. It's part of a series of political persecutions by the vendepatrias that have run this country since Lenin Moreno betrayed his party, country and voters. It's late and I don't want to write an in depth piece on Ecuadorian politics. It doesn't even matter because even people who don't like Glas can recognize that this is just an absolutely insane action, a violation of the Vienna Convention and something which has few precedents.
The single biggest issue is that as a tropical environment, only certain crops and animals work well there. Most of the "innovations" in tropical farming are based on producing more cash crops fro the imperial core. This issue is most obvious with the long standing shortage of fresh milk, the cattle that produce milk are varieties bred for cool climates and they don't do well in the tropics.

Given the hysteria following the entrance of armed teenagers into a national TV station and a few simultaneous attacks, unfortunately most people will support this nonsense right now. My daughter can't go to school because her school is in a "dangerous area" close to a jail and I'm supposed to be grateful the gringos are coming to save the day and pay more sales tax to support our glorious armed forces.

Also we signed a deal to send 25k workers to Israel. The referendum to stop exploitation of oil on one small part of the land that belongs to indigenous people in voluntary isolation has been overturned by executive decision - because we need the money and who gives a fuck if genocide is the result?
It's been a bad couple of weeks in Ecuador and most people have totally lost their minds. I love my country but this shit is really testing.

As comrades have mentioned, the election is a big factor. Kamala is running ads highlight her support for Ukraine in states with populations connected to Eastern Europe that are considered strategically important. Also the campaign to tell people that Russia is paying political commentators is in full force.
