I have a few downloaded; none are particularly good.

While none of the foods we tested had acutely dangerous levels of perchlorate, some did have enough that several servings of a food could add up to potentially hazardous levels.

Over time, dozens of small exposures accumulate the chemical in your body at dangerous concentrations.

Clinton quote:

"You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?” Clinton said. “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up."

Walz quotes:

"That stuff is weird, they come across weird," Walz said on MSNBC last week. He followed up on CNN Sunday, saying "I see Donald Trump talking about the wonderful Hannibal Lecter or whatever weird thing he is on tonight ... That is weird behavior. I don't think you call it anything else."

Republicans have successfully defanged the racist and X-phobic terms, so you have to make accusations more concrete. What does transphobic actually mean in plain terms? It means being way too obsessed on whether that girl across the room or on the sports field or in the bathroom has or ever had a penis.

She called "half" of his supporters a "basket of deplorables" which is a lot less targeted than calling the candidates themselves weird.

My best therapist sometimes didn't stop me when I went on tangents and we actually circled back around to important shit. When they take my ADHD symptoms as avoidance of their question that I don't know the answer to, we end up at an impasse and not going anywhere.

Is there a decent bootleg? I’ve been searching for years…

Get T-boned by a Nissan cube and you’re done for.

It has “step on me” or “crush me mommy/daddy” connotations if you think about it, but I like that it’s a thinker. 8/10

I’ve watched some gameplay and it seems that the way to win is always stall out until they stand, then fuck them up with a card that makes them bust retroactively.

The flavor was not that good TBH. But what stood out to me even more was that the coloring looks even more surreal and unnatural in person. It’s otherworldly. There is no way to convince yourself that it is food when you’re looking at that color.

I normally don't criticize artists, but come on. You don't have a tech guy on your DJ set at COACHELLA when you don't know how to do it? They must be paying her like $1 million to DJ and she can't even bring a tech person that knows how to fix a double tempo issue.

Also the bible verse into LLM messiah complex bit at the beginning removes all sympathy.

If a performance is going badly, typically you don't want to apologize in the middle of it. And if you do, just do it once, not 6 times.

Highly recommend this album. The topic is

CW medical misogyny, horrible illness, chronic painshe had post-pregnancy osteoporosis (undiagnosed) with exquisite pain and her doctors wouldn't fucking believe her and LITERALLY called her hysterical. She asked for an MRI and they refused and then she paid for her own and guess what? She had 10 fractured vertebrae.

Aside from the powerful topic, the album is all in the same key and has like 10 distinct, amazing grooves on similar chords. This plus the addition of several interludes gives the impression that it isn't just a few songs, but it's actually all part of one longer work. Lucy's voice is amazing, and her piano arrangements are KILLER.

The audio production (especially creative techniques) are to die for as well. Excitingly beautiful reverb, and on the track Dusty Frames there is this warbly effect on the piano that sounds like it was badly compressed to MP3 which brings back major nostalgia for me.

You can listen on Bandcamp for free, but 8 pounds/10 USD is a steal for this record.

I wanted to buy the signed vinyl but shipping is over $20 to the US. The album cover is CLASSIC style, though.

Favorite Tracks: Over When It's Over, Dusty Frames

This Next Fest is the best I've seen yet! List any cool game demos or trailers here.

My standouts:

Berserk Boy - Mega-Man trope game that looks to have great platforming and run + gun gameplay and pixel art.
Death of the Reprobate - Midieval art collage point and click game.
Bride Into the Cave - Horror puzzle game about a minority girl in ancient China trying to save herself, and a myth about an cave that houses a deity who names a girl and her soul disappears from the the mortal realm. The trailer music was incredible and the art was also stunning.
Hauntii - Monochromatic (or sometimes a few shades of the same color) game in which you play a ghost and you possess various objects and animals to make progress. Casual / Adventure
Chasing the Unseen - Shadow of the colossus type game where you climb impossibly massive animals like snakes and Octopi in a surreal world.
Ultros - Psychedelic Metroidvania with an unbelievable 2d art style where you "wake up stranded on The Sarcophagus, a Cosmic uterus holding an ancient demonic being.
