This tram goes up a steep hill. On the ground you can see a third line of "tracks". Those a for a gear the tram uses to pull itself up the hill. It's the only one in Stuttgart that has that. Because that hill is so steep, they allow bikers to take their bike with them and because many use that offer, they added the extra bike carriage.

Uh....if she's doing shadow puppets, then why is she not looking at the shadows she's casting but directly into the light instead?

I think you already gave yourself the answer in your own case:

Because I give zero crap about what other people think of me.

This applies to people that aren't in your inner circle. You want HER to be in that circle and suddenly it actually does matter what SHE thinks of you. You have little to lose with people you don't really care about, but everything to lose with people you do care about. It's an evil social twist that makes everything so complicated. High self-esteem is just the ability to quickly pull yourself up when you fall and the knowledge that you actually CAN do so. It mitigates the risks of "putting yourself out there".

Addiction is not something you can control. In a way she was sick and there is not very much she could have done. Sure, "don't take drugs while pregnant" or "don't get pregnant while being an addict" sound like obvious things, but drugs can cloud your judgement.

And that is before you even think about what constitutes as a "someone". I don't even want to start the discussion on it, but there IS the question of when a fetus counts as another life/person.

Be honest and just communicate your worries. Don't ask strangers, ask her. You can tell her the same things you wrote here. That you're out of the dating game and unsure what's going on, but that your intentions and wishes haven't changed and that you just wanted to check, whether the two of you are still on the same page.

Openness and communication is key for every relationship. Besides...the first step into a relationship is dropping the game of "coolness" and letting her see the real you, with all the emotions and insecurities there may be.

We are the society and judging other people's behaviour is what defines morality. Not speaking up about things that are clearly fucked up as the model industry just shifts the whole moral-scale in their favor.

I wonder if this is because AI is trained on data that 'is' and has therefore no concept of how it 'should be'. Maybe it is an effective mirror of society....

A long time ago we actually agreed on a process for fact finding. It is one that has served us well for hundreds of years (more so in the last 150 years, once we really had a foundational understanding of the world based on previously established facts). The whole "you look at the world, draw conclusions and test them" - system is not new and it works. That is science. It's not a question of what people believe to be fact, but in believing in the process of establishing them. One side is systematically trying to undermine the very basis of science. It is impossible to use science or data or facts to convince someone like that that their position is wrong.
