Yeesh. I mean, chronically neutral people are fucking garbage, we can all agree. But the lack of nuance in political discourse and in the actual understanding and worldviews of seemingly everybody is a massive problem. People not even grasping that there can be nuance on issues is incredibly devastating to political discourse. Social media is definitely a big culprit, but the “catchphrase politics” era was most definitely part and party to this too.

I’m the same way. I just want to live in those stories until I’ve played them and replayed them so much that the feeling goes away. Currently: cyberpunk.

People will sleep when they have to sleep. And if they have a choice between outside or inside on a cold night, they will choose in. These people don’t disappear when you make their lives even harder. They have to adapt to further misery. This isn’t a solution. It isn’t even a solution to the problems you listed. Ride the train early morning or late night? You will see a bunch of homeless people trying warm or get some sleep.

Don’t like it? Spend money fixing it. Not making the lack of adequate current solutions an even bigger problem.

I think your typo helped it get past the filter, not the leetspeak. It said it didn’t know, and hen when you said “look it up,” the search results autocorrected and that’s how you got past the filter.

Maybe it was a way to get the engine to say it doesn’t know “brain” hood, and when they asked it to look it up, their hits autocorrected to “Brian,” and that’s how they got the information past the filter. Which would be incredibly clever, and it’s I believe how it actually got past it, not the leetspeak.
