It definitely is, but they filed in Texas which doesn't have anti-SLAPP laws for federal cases

As a line cook, cutting up everything before a pan gets turned on is just good mise en place. You shouldn't start cooking until you know you're ready and haven't forgotten anything. The whole process is way easier and more relaxed when you've got all the components together in advance

I went to school for a job that I worked 70 hrs a week at and still never got past $52k a year in the North Jersey/NY area. I just want to make enough to make ends meet and have a little leftover in savings, I don't even need it to be to the extent of the meme

This industry is brutal. I'm tearing my body apart for $16 an hour just continuously reminding myself that I'm learning a lot and this isn't forever, but man is it kicking my ass. What do you all do to unwind? Is booze/weed really all there is to help you chill out at the end of the day?
