Other than a potential matrix server, I do not currently have anything in mind. The future is unpredictable.
An example of a non-profit effort that I took on in the past is COVID PPE 3D printing with volunteer community printers. If something like that was needed for pandemic or disaster relief again would be nice to not have to go through the trouble of spinning up a new non-profit.
I think we can definitely work with Canadian Open Source Communication Association. Maybe swap out Communication for Community.

Lemmy.ca is hosted on OVHcloud as they have a Canadian data center. If you're not specifically looking for a Canadian server, there's many other options that are priced more attractively.

I run it, summer gets crazy busy in the trucking industry and now I'm on my 3 weeks of holidays in Europe to recover π
It was only set up to work for 40 days between incidents because we hadn't made it over that in forever, then we did, and I was too busy to make more images. The situation has got better so I guess that's why I felt kind of ok with not keeping up with it.
