Probably my Granddads 1950s East German office chair. Got it when he passed since I always used to sit in it when drawing at his desk.
Gas spring is a bit leaky and the leather is a bit faded but it's more solid and comfy than anything new under €500 I tried.
In theory maybe, but our brains are basically a supercomputer on steroids when it comes to interpreting and improving the "video feed" our eyes give us.
Could it be done with just cameras, probably some time in the future, but why the fuck wouldn't you use a depth sensor now, and even in the future as a redundancy.
I've had one similar to this which was "only" 2k kcal, legit felt like it could've fed me for the week.
I've had 5 pairs of the same shoes over 5 years. Apparently nobody else likes them and the same store still had old stock years later discounted to €25 from €100. Cleared them out for the last 3 pairs they had which i now keep as backup.

That's just rolling shutter from the camera. The sensor is blown out and the next frame is completely white it just starts capturing the data on that side.
Explosion could've happened anywhere in front of the camera for that to happen.
The cardboard crusher probably, just have to tip them over the edge. Puts them nicely in 1.5x1.5x1m cubes
