I believe aliens exist, somewhere in the universe. Statistically it seems inevitable, I just don't believe they've visited earth or even know we exist, just like we don't know they exist. You can sit on something like that, there would be much better evidence than grainy fake looking videos and second hand accounts.

Earth is a very early stable planet, I'm sure there will be lots more species in the coming billions of years. We might even be the most advanced civilization in the galaxy. But we'll probably never contact anyone else, best we do is notice signs of life on a distant planet.

Celebrities with obscene amounts of money is like 1% of actors. Most of them are just Joe shmoes in the background. Actors should get their fair share, I think it's pretty simple, even famous people have been sharing the low amounts they make from streaming.

At least celebrities really only get paid what the market dictates and actually provide joy/entertainment to the people that willingly give them money. 100% of CEO's exploit to make their billions - and they'll never get replaced, they "need" to be in charge, replace everyone else though, they like how cheap it is.

Just think, the longer it takes, the more features we were used to will be baked in.

X is what he first called PayPal, I wonder if this is just some sad fantasy for Musk.

Block the Reddit community then lmao, you're walking into a strip club then complaining about seeing boobs.

It's interesting to follow Reddit's downfall from afar imo. It's already happening us caring is just us tracking what's happening.

Based on the $ ima assume you're American and probably live in a high cost of living area, they get paid that much to compensate for high prices. They're probably as poor as the rest of us.

Legit, just take your money and enjoy life in silence like other billionaires you don't even know about. They're far too public and they look like idiots.

My dad was going to buy a Tesla up until a few years ago, there's far more and better competition nowadays. And it's really seeming Tesla's are actively dangerous.

I haven't been on for a couple days because boost is finally dying, but the front page is shit, it's 90% anime and doordash.

Boost for Lemmy will be out soon, just using the website/not using anything until then. Boost was the best Reddit app by far. And yeah, like others said, Sync is coming too.
