The Shawshank Redemption would also like a word.

I ran a BBS back when the computers had to screech at each other and I always described the feeling of the rise of the internet as "moving from a small town to the big city."

I very much appreciate this analogy.

Business people making business decisions. 🤷‍♂️

You can solve our issues with investment, like Democrats do. Our economy does better under Democrats than Republicans.

Republicans seem to think this is how things work and that may explain the consistent economic downturns you see under most Republican admin's.

Until the American people figure this out, things will suck.

Democrats may not be your cup of tea, but it's undeniable the country does better when Republicans are not in charge over the past century or so.

Fine for me. Don't need a lot of troll bots and junk opinions from the uninformed. 🤷‍♂️

Go look up how lead poisoned our generation is. No one should rely on Gen X for shit. We failed the country this past election for sure.

They want $100 for this. They are trying to make games expensive again.

In my mind, the bigger and more expensive the dev team, the more likely the business people are to be involved. Those business types really know how to suck fun and fairness out of games in an attempt to turn it into unbridled profits.

Buy a handful of games from small independent studios instead of this if you feel similarly to me.

CPAC

Go ahead, search it if you don't understand. Just want to make sure this is here for the time when they track down the upvotes.

We forgot we could regulate capitalism like we did 100 years go. Let's make taxes great again. Then take that money and pour it into education. If the states really want to control that, fine, that's a compromise that can probably still end up working out in the end.

And so they win: making you hate me for stuff I don't support and have been trying to prevent for my entire adult life.

Great job everyone, me included.

[Jury Nullification] is when the jury in a criminal trial gives a verdict of not guilty even though they think a defendant has broken the law. The jury's reasons may include the belief that the law itself is unjust

Until the wealthy and powerful are held to account, why punish your fellow everyday citizens? Use your brain. Decide if what they're charging people with is suppression or actually keeping society safe.

When those prosecutors start losing these cases, maybe they will start to rethink who they are focusing on.

... at least how it'd be for me.

I saw other reports in the recent call for problems of errors around searching, but this seems, to me at least, to be reproducible.

edit: to be clear, this is using fedia.io - I am not sure if this bug affects mbin/kbin more generally, I've only tested on fedia.io.
