Understandable, you were booting up

Wrong. More watts doesn’t mean faster. Bosch eBikes go up to 750W but are locked at 25km/h. The power is used for uphill climbing ability and responsiveness to leg torque input.
His point also stands. My car has 180.000 Watts and can easily go over 250km/h. Why isn’t it banned?

Oof, I’m not sure I’d call that repairable. That’s iPhone levels of repairable.

How repairable are we talking? Can the battery be replaced?

What a clickbait title and a shit website. They mention bulbs that were hacked but those bulbs don’t have mics in them. Then they mention bulbs with cameras inside them, which most people don’t have. Also where the fuck did they get the 78% number?

We need worse heatwaves

Do you have any recommendations for a self hosted network analyzer that can visualize all the device connected to a network, different subnets, etc, and perhaps show the flow of data for each network device?
I’m probably asking for too much but sometimes there are cool projects out there that aren’t easy to find.

What service would you recommend for receiving SMS confirmation codes etc. that is not blocked by most services (which probably only leaves the paid ones)?

As it stands, both Piped and Invidious are dead. Because od that, I almost completely stopped watching youtube but l'd still sometimes like to check what the people I follow posted (I used to do that via Piped). Are there any new ways of following people without actually using Google? I'm aware of the tools that download new videos as they come out but I'm more interested in just "subscribing", kinda like RSS?
Ideally it would be on iOS

Edit: I found it, “Unwatched” on iOS is awesome, thanks to !FundMECFSResearch@lemmy.blahaj.zone

Second drop of In The Echo is bonkers

I know it's been a running joke for years now, but jesus christ the iPhones still start at 128GB and the regular 16 is still 60Hz and USB 2.0.
