Some of us always look like shit.

I just assume it's a convoluted way to present Loss.

Same thing is happening a lot of places. One large american company that I'm not going to mention is doing several rounds of layoffs along with a return to office initiative.

Goddammit, you brilliant bastard.

Especially if you don't make six figures or more.

Six figures ain't the line anymore and hasn't been for a while. If your household income is $100,000 in a lot of places you're still living paycheck to paycheck. They ain't working for those people because there's no immediate money to be made helping the middle class.

They make a powder for that.

I'll be out of debt by the end of this year. I'll outright own everything that I've been calling mine. So given my luck this will happen just after I pay off everything.

And I'll still celebrate for the same reason I'd celebrate if everyone's student loans in the US were forgiven even though I paid mine off a while ago. Because it's the best thing for all of us.

My doctor has long fingernails and it's super uncomfortable when she starts wiggling all her fingers around.

I think every time there's a chase the entire department should just stand in front of the getaway car. They'll either make the news for bravely stopping the chase or they'll make the news for attempting to bravely stop the chase.

Either way they'll sure look brave.

While I agree with you, at least it's the deputy that died.

[–] averagedrunk@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 years ago

He wouldn't have even gotten that if he said he thought the money committed a crime.

I'm a big believer in the "both sides" theory. Stick with me here.

One side is a trash can fire. They do some fucked up shit.

The other is the Springfield Tire Fire.

Both sides suck, but one side sucks so bad that there's no way to ever fix it.
