I actually wanna try this, it would be fascinating. Any idea where the jobs are posted?

You overestimate the technical competence and attention span of the current generation of kids - they barely know how to use a mouse.

IMO if any kid these days manages to do enough work to figure out how to do anything on Linux, they're probably well ahead of the pack and deserve to play their game as a reward πŸ˜…

Nice work, you did a good thing 😊

Gotcha, if that's true the article author is being a bit misleading then... do you happen to have a link to anything else I could read to learn more? I'm from Scotland and I don't expect my views to matter, I wasn't actually sharing an opinion, just asking a question πŸ˜… If you're from the area I'm sure you know a lot more about it than me!

How do you know that with certainty if they never had a trial or any kind of criminal proceedings?

Perhaps deleting messages on Lemmy doesn't work how you think?

Oatly barista in the grey cartons is hands down the best IMO after trying loads of other brands. I get it at publix in the US or Tesco in the UK

The wealthy class in the US are heavily invested in military stocks. War benefits them, even if it's civil war. This is probably intentional.

Maybe I'm too cynical or giving them too much credit. Hope we find out

This is very realistic and fair, I don't subscribe to the ideologist out of touch bs personally even though I first compiled Gentoo 20 years ago.

I run Mac as my daily driver for convenience and stability but use the terminal for a ton of things and SSH into various Linux servers for my work. I run a VM in Parallels for the handful of apps which only work on windows, and generally avoid them unless they're the only option.

Basically, what I'm saying is even if you're dependent on some Windows only apps, you might find you have a better quality of life by making those the exception (running them in a VM) but using a more stable OS as the underlying OS.

That's fair, I didn't think through my joke very well lol. Honestly Lemmy is wonderful but let's face it it's kinda an eco chamber with a few trolls, so I guess it would be kinda like the fake Good Place πŸ˜…
