Where do you live to be able to buy a house in cash after 3 years of working? Where I live the average appartment is about 400K euros and the average house is closer to 500K euros.

Maybe you can find something for 250K if you really buy something small that needs lots of work. But you still need over 80K a year excluding taxes, probably closer to 120K before taxes.

Keep running it for a while and after some time 5 or 10 years you will struggle when people ask you about (basic) Windows stuff.

I work in software development, I understand websites, webservices and the backend it all runs on at a pretty deep level.

But I never owned an Apple device. So whenever my wife (iMac user) has a problem and I try to help, I struggle with all the basic shit. I don't know the interface, don't know the menu structure, don't have muscle memory for basic key bindings (like copy paste).

Same with my parents, a few years ago my dad gave my mom his old iphone, didn't do any factory reset etc. She used logged out his apple id and logged in hers. But the apps he installed refused to update, very little information from the device about the problem. They don't know you shouldn't do this and just give me the phone and say apps don't update. It took me a while to figure out what the hell was even going on.

Yeah let's focus on trans people, and ignore all the religious bullshit we feed our kids, or all the violence we show them. Its mind boggling how Americans are afraid of some nudity, but simultaneously show kids cartoons where violence and murder are just normal.

I worry about the poor boys that don't like women and have an idiot like you as a parent.

I have a boy and trust me boys are not growing up thinking they are women. There are more people in jail/prison in the USA than there are trans people, so now all boys are growing up confused thinking they should be in prison?

It's not even that simple, because paying can be done with money, but you can also send troops, or have troops ready to protect other countries, send equipment, etc.

So it's not that black and white who pays what.

Also I think the biggest think Trump did to NATO for the EU, is that for the first time people actually realized the US isn't always the allie we thought. It really depends on who's president, something before Trump most people never thought about. It also really pushed the point of having an European army and other changes like that.

In the Netherlands you pay a road tax every 3 months. The amount is based on weight (because a heavier car does more damage to a road) but also on eco label. So an electric car that has the best eco label can have less tax than an old (but much lighter) diesel car.

This is just the lastest thing, it used to be the old IT guys and the ones with a beard, long hair and a metal shirt.

I like that example, everytime you hear about some discovery that x kills 100% of cancer cells in a petri dish. You always have to think, so does bleach.
