It's a different version of the tolerance paradox

The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept suggesting that if a society extends tolerance to those who are intolerant, it risks enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance; thereby undermining the very principle of tolerance. (Source Wikipedia)

This company is selling paperclips for 8000 per paperclip, how can anyone afford that?

Well this other company sells them for 295 per paperclip so thats like a fraction of the price....

It's still a ridiculous price, that no "normal" person would ever pay for a paperclip.

Physical media yes, CDs or DVDs no. Most discs I burned are probably unreadable by now. I remember my favorite artist explaining how he probably had to stop making music because it just wasn't financially viable. So I decided to buy all his albums (I had all the albums in mp3 format for years). Its about 10 years later, all the CDs are lost or destroyed (most in my car). I still have a NAS with the original mp3s I downloaded 20 years ago.

Ik heb een keer 112 gebeld toen ik laat op de avond een man met een schroevendraaier en hamer een deur zag openbeuken. Politie was vrij snel terplekke.

I bought bee flower seeds, its a pretty large container (think half a Pringles can). I just sprinkle them around in my neighborhood. 😁. Can't wait for the day weird flowers are starting to popup everywhere.

I started watching the movies again and I'm almost done and it's fascinating. If you ignore the harry voldermort stuff and look at the wizard world, there are so many parallels with trump and the administration.

The more power voldermort gains (and even for JK he represents absolute evil), the more the world changes.

First its influence over the ministry, influence over the education system (Delores). Influence over the press, and killing press that is negative about the government. Locating half blood wizards (there's a parallel with immigrants), I'm not at the end so I don't know if the lock up halfblood wizards.

I visited auschwitz when I was 15 on a achool trip, the entire place felt very dark. But I was too young (and stupid) to really understand the horrors that happened at that place.

I always knew about the gaschambers, but never really thought about how it was done, until I saw this video recently

It made me realize just how fucked up these people where.

It was fun the first 3 times, but now it's starting to hurt.

I don't even rinse them, just remove the knot and blow them up for your next party.

I just checked in NL when I search for cars 2010 or later and max 60K KM (50 isn't an option on the site I used). I can find multiple small cars starting at 3000 euros. I selected a price range at 10K euros max and found almost 3000 cars, there are definitely decent options for way less than 20-30K

You save up and get a second hand car you can afford. Why buy a new one, even a car with 30K miles or 50K KMs is a lot cheaper, while its still new enough to drive for a while without major repairs.
