If I want to make a piece of software to improve people's lives

If that is your intention, GPL would make more sense, as every improvement and development would be forced to be made available to those people, thus helping them further.

I doubt that your code helps anyone who needs/deserves to be helped, after beeing processed by big corpo.

You could think about your definition of freedom. For me: My freedom ends, where it restricts others people freedom - I shouldn't be free to rob people and call it restriction if someone forbids this.

Great habbit to increase the noise level in your town. But everyone is doing it, so it can't be wrong.

Fucking idiots everywhere, sell your car.

I take loud honks next to me quite personal, when I am on my bike. Carbrain can't understand, carbrain is sitting in their cage.

[...] Mr Beasts popularity, generosity [...]

Mr. Beast feels so unlikable to me, I really can't understand his popularity. But that's beside the point, sorry. Fuck instagram!

Sometimes it frightens me to see how things in the US are working. This crap will come to europe sooner or later, the US capitalism is just a few years ahead.

If I don't have social media I am either arrogant or I am hiding something? Sounds very ignorant and arrogant to me.

The women I know are people I can talk to, discuss social media, discuss decisions regarding social media, no red flag bullshit. Maybe it's different in different countries.

To be fair, when this post was new (back in the 18th century) 5 grand would buy you a new house.

We should all calm down, buy a Twix and look forward to christmas.

Some day I will try Sync, to see why people accept totaly unnecessary ads when there are plenty of free (beer, freedom, etc) adfree options out there. It must be one hell of a software.

You know what to do: drink water, eat healthy, lift weights, go swimming, quit social media, quit your stressfull job and find the little things that make you happy, you don't need much.

Me, why shouldn't one do that? But my last resume is 10 years old, maybe I am out of touch with all the mumbo jumbo dancing you have to do, to build the "right" resume.

Does anyone else have this weird backspace behavior when writing comments? I would describe it like this:

When writing a comment or a post I sometimes press backspace a few times to correct a word. This will delete a few characters and then delete the space between the current word and the word before this word, resulting in: first wordsecon

Can anyone describe this in a more technical way? Is this already an issue on github? I couldn't find it last time I looked.

Exactly my point for downvoting them. Make an argument, but better take your anger out of it and try to avoid making assumptions - you don't know if OP-commenter really thinks that this is a reasonable take or an exaggeration to make a point about car-brains getting away with stuff.
