I loved it!

Spoilers Ahead:

spoilerThe fact that the sets were supposed to be fictitious/play-sets gave him an excuse to push his style into an almost cartoonish extreme. I enjoyed the nested levels of storytelling. There was a lot of humor, some of which was more outright than in his previous films. There was still plenty of more subtle and dry humor too. The eye candy was taken to new extremes with hyper-saturated colors. The framing/compositions, transitions, etc were delightful as always. I think the story was quite strong with a good and clever ending.

Some fun things I noticed: When the cowboy dude walks there are spur noises, even though he had no spurs. In many of the black and white shots, the characters eyes have a subtle red tint, I suppose to draw your eyes into their faces.

Did anyone else think the space alien looked like Salad Fingers (a reference for the OG Newgrounds crowd). https://imgur.com/a/mJNPDCR

I'm seeing it tonight and looking forward to it. I usually enjoy Wes Anderson, but I realize that it isn't for everyone. Personally, I really enjoy the careful framing of all the shots, the colorful scenes, quirky tone and dry humor.

That is great news! I look forward to trying it when it is ready. I really enjoyed using Sync and was so sad that reddit ruined their ecosystem.

I agree that is isn't really necessary for mot people, but I do know quite a few people who use it because they know they know the phone will be safe. My partner uses her phone in the pool all the time. I'm often dripping wet after coming in from surfing, even after drying off with a towel. It is nice to be able to check my phone without worrying I'm going to mess it up.

I'm not saying it is a feature every phone needs, but it is something that some people use. I'm all for replaceable batteries and would like to see them more available. They will improve the longevity of devices as long as they aren't damaged in other ways.

How does Consent-o-matic compare to I Still Don't Care About Cookies?

I love Igorrr. It has been interesting seeing the project progress to having lots of musicinas rather than just sampling. I love the older stuff with the samples, but I imagine the new stuff would be fun to see live.

Have you listened to Master Boot Record? It is the same guy as Keygen Church. A few years back he set up some really fun internet scavenger hunts with some fun puzzles, ciphers, etc using old protocols, which eventually led to unreleased tracks and an actual BBS.

I've got a Pixel 7 Pro and I've been very happy with it. The camera is fantastic, which is probably my favorite thing about it. I love all of the little features included in the Pixel software, the call screening feature being one of the best. The Pixels usually aren't trying to beat the other flagships in specs, but I haven't had any complaints with the hardware. I usually update to a new phone about every 3 year.

When I browse communities and switch to allI am able to find some off server communities that I would like to join, but when I go to the link, I am unable to subscribe. The subscribe button doesn't seem to work. Is this because the server doesn't federate with the other one? I am trying to add some nature/science related communities from the https://mander.xyz server.
