There are some concerns but yes, development generally accelerates: https://arxiv.org/abs/2507.03156

To be fair, their reduced focus and the potential pace improvement through LLM assisted coding might cancel each other out. I wouldn't be surprized if the resulting pace change is net zero or better.

That said: I like Firefox local translations, but haven't found a use case for its other AI features yet.

I can think of several ways: log analysis, methodology analysis, analysis of code comments writing style/errors, keeping the vulnerability in and finding home calls, human intelligence.

In addition to this: airport security cameras are REALLY good these days. So if you are in a risk group and want to use a passcode to secure yourself, make sure you don't unlock your phone at the airport at all.

These days, with QR boarding passes etc, a burner may be a better alternative for such people.

Good initiative, not the best name.

Open Geospatial Consortium (also OGC) is leading in its domain and has been for years. https://www.ogc.org/

People use layovers as well, usually doesn't require a visa. Final destination of the ticket as a backup if the layover location doesn't work out. Based on your resume and ambitions, there might be betted ways though (expat programs etc).

Good luck to those currently in the USA.

Proton & Gaming: There is more than one Proton, your concern may be about the compatability layer (which works quite well in fact).

Purple Proton: If you're a Linux user, there is no official Drive Sync client yet. Calendar sharing with non-proton accounts has some shortcomings (e.g., no recurring event updates). I'm a happy user otherwise.

Not listed in the article: I like Detrumpez Vous best. It has been around for a while, and yes, it is offered in English as well.
