The west is so capitalism pilled, it's stupid. A fun thought to let wild is wondering if it has anything to do with the fundamental differences between western and eastern religion, where western religion is more top-down (monotheistic god saving individuals directly) and eastern religions are more bottom-up (unlocking oneself and raising others up through it)
I mean the existence of Israel as it is goes against Judaism, that's why lots of anti-Zionist rabbis say Zionism is a denomination of Judaism.
