I heard it’s cool sci-fi with some connections to the cultural revolution in China. Is it rabidly anti communist or actually kinda based? I love some good sci-fi so I might watch it either way, but I prefer space communism ideally

On a local level, elections can be much easier to make an impact on material conditions. Also good practice for organizing and meeting your community

people need to be blocking traffic for shits and gigs. Just walking to the grocery store and take your sweet time in the cross walk. The public space should be for people

I’ve been looking into joining a Marxist group in my area (I’m based in the belly of the beast of imperialism), is there a good place for honest reviews of some of these groups? It seems like there’s more than I would’ve thought and I’m not sure how much sense it’d make to join multiple. They have a lot of similarities for sure, but I want to be doing more praxis and less posting

So because showing emotion is frowned upon in public, we should be bigots? Why not normalise showing emotion in the workplace and consolation?

I’ve been trying to find it, and can’t find it anywhere. Or when I find it, it’s a dead torrent with no seeders. Anyone have it and can seed for a bit? I want to have a copy for my media server, so I don’t want stream links.

I prefer fishhook theory, far right and centrists are more similar, and the left just out on its own

Yeah the benefit of being the default is huge. Incumbency bias is strong, and liberalism doesn't bad enough at first to most people, so they assume its fine. You either have to be curious about the truth, or get fucked over by the system to really start to question it. It exists in a state of not so bad that people hate it, but clearly not the best, so people just go along with it as it is easiest to do so.
