It's an addiction for some.

You have to write it down once in a while, then it works.

Having redundancy is the point of the fediverse.

Abusers don't have power when there are options.

So in my opinion a second instance is positive for the health of the network, but maybe it wouldn't be healthy for you as it ist probably a bunch of thankless work.

I can't believe they vibed all over the place.

Should have destroyed it.

When a lot of people who have nothing to do with each other say the same thing.

When people who dedicate their life to this one thing say the same.

When I can come to the same conclusion based on the reasoning behind it

When it is repeatable.

Then I going to accept it as a fact otherwise it is just something someone has said.

 

So I jumped from Windows to Linux, endeavouros btw, and would like to know:

how you keep your system clean? If you are infected how do you find out? What do you do about it then?
