Angry voting has never helped with anything. It would be like setting your house on fire because the neighbor's music is too loud for your taste.

Voting is not what you think it is. I encourage you on re-evaluating that.

it's to pay some indian worker on a chromebook to take your prompt and put it into one of three AI's at their disposal.

I noticed strange behavior when editing a comment.

So I was writing a comment and noticed mid-writing that a word was mistyped. I hadn't submitted the comment yet and I do have autocorrect disabled. I corrected the word using the auto-suggestion and it got changed. I finished my comment and submitted it but....the word I had changed was mistyped again!

I re-opened my comment, changed the word back and then went to the end of that comment to add another paragraph. After sending, the mistyped word was back again!

And so I reopened the comment a second time to edit it again, for the third time :3

Something is up with the comment editor and the submittal process.

Just reporting the bugs and hoping to make Memmy the new King app of Lemmy apps πŸ‘πŸΈ πŸ‘‘

PS: The german version now looks so much better. Thank you for changing haha!

Suggestion: what if there was a lemmy instance solely for reporting malicious lemmy/fediverse servers? I've read some stuff about FBI crackdown and mastodon instances containing questionable material. Wouldn't it be gret to have some kind of federated "registry" of all the bad actors out there? I am pretty clueless, but would that help?

You have my utmost support even though I am not even on your instance. Just saw it in the federated feed :p Stay strong LGBTQ+ πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

Someone needs to invent middle-out compression and install it on a network of smart fridges

Yes it went as far as me actually removing the Comet (3rd party Reddit) app I use and bury it in a folder and putting Memmy in its place. Because opening and browsing it just feels so good. It's awesome.

This is ridiculous and sad. Cheers to the helpers who managed to get a few of them back into the ocean. It breaks my heart to know the majority just stranded and died on the beach.
