I just got an OTP package and all went well.

If the problem is theft by drivers, then the OTP is counter productive as it alerts the driver that this particular package contains a high value item, so they can easily swap it or fool the system.

Currently sailing to Mexico. You need to obtain an import permit for your boat into Mexico, even for short time. It's called a Temporary Import Permit, TIP and at today's rate is just under $20. You can ask for it between 11 and 60 days before arrival in Mexico. The application is done online at https://www.banjercito.com.mx/registroVehiculos/# Top right switches to english if needed.

You will need your boat registration (Federal Coast Guard Documentation or State issued Registration) Passport of boat owner

If the boat is owned by an LLC you'll need more ownership proof.

On arrival in Mexico you must contact immigration and customs. You'll need to fill in paperwork and present crew list and crew passports. Declare any alcohol, controlled medication and similar. Until you have sorted this you should fly flag Q, quarantine yellow flag. Once you have been given authorization (clearance) into the country you take Q flag down and replace with a Mexican courtesy flag, flown on Starboard side.

Failure to do the above can land you in major trouble.

The reality is that ads work. That's why they even exist and companies pay so much for them. The safest way to not be influenced by them is to not see them.

Block them, skip them, use ad free media

I wonder if uBlock Origin and other ad blocks will work against that crap. Not that I intend to use Reddit anymore anyway.

And growing. What an amazing show of solidarity. Hopefully a good percentage of the millions of users of these subs will find new homes on Lemmy and start afresh.

Keeping FP1, FP2, FP3, Quali and Race in separate posts would make most sense for me. That way I would have less risks of spoilers. I'm always worried about spoilers since due to time zones and life constraints I usually watch F1 after everyone.

No spoilers in thread titles would be a nice touch. On Reddit I actually avoided r/F1 until post race Monday.

But whatever works for everyone.

French and English bilingual here, not Canadian though, so thought it'd be a good place to start my Lemmy adventure.

Absolutely. I probably would have paid. I'm not big on subscriptions as I prefer one time upfront costs or lifetime subscriptions when possible, but I did use Reddit a lot.

Instead I deleted my posts and moved on. Now, where do I find huskytantrums?!

I love your typo/autocorrect. "Absorbant" amounts. I picture huge piles of money being used as sponges but not doing anything useful.

Commented and voted.

And just noticed I can bold and format easily?
