It's not just that. It's also that the second hand market is really not there anymore. There are a lot of games that I know I'm only playing once, in this case it makes sense to buy it, then resell it. But it's not really feasible on PC.

In this situation, a rental market does make sense. And it also allows more easily to test games you probably wouldn't have bought. I played Persona 3 this way for example.

To be fair (and I used to like the gamepass. I recently started to change my mind on that) the PC offer for gamepass is better and less expensive than the XBOX

Also, LLM have been there for a while. So there are a few possible situations

  • LLM used is authorized or even encouraged. In this case it's the company
  • LLM use is controlled, and this falls into one of the authorized cases. Same thing really. Also their authorized use cases need review
  • LLM use is forbidden, or restricted and this is not an authorized use. In this case it falls on the company to review what's being done. It's their responsibility.

So yeah, whatever the situation, it's on Crunchyroll.

No clue, I never played the other games in the series, only the last one. But it's actually a pretty old series, and the previous game was already 10 years old when AC6 released. So I'd say go with the latest one honestly

That was actually my first FromSoft game, before I fell in love with Elden Ring and went with the other games.

But yeah, it really doesn't look at all like a Souls. I would actually compare it to an Ace Combat game, but with boss fights. It's really fast, there are tons of enemies in every direction, and you really fight in three dimensions (you can jump and fly). Your standard enemy is also really not a big deal, there are a lot of moments where you destroy them many at once.

And finally there's no leveling system really. You build your mech with parts that you can buy (the more you progress in the game, the more you have access to powerful parts), and you can sell the parts at the same price you bought them, so you are free to experiment.

That depends. If the protection is good enough you wouldn't get any damage (it can be 3/4 times as powerful as the normal guard power of the shield)

But in essence, Armored Core is not really a game you can do hitless, you mostly mitigate damage instead

Tiens c'est marrant, le ferroviaire a un système de péages pour l'utilisation des lignes. Pourquoi pas faire la même sur l'aérien? Après tout y'a une infrastructure à financer (contrôleur.euses, ainsi que tout l'équipement).

There is a shield which kinda behaves this way? The more you hold it up, the less efficient it is. So raising your shield just before being hit will protect you the most, kinda like a deflect. There is no impact on the opponent though.

The dodges are also different from other FromSoft games: there is no i-frames, so you can only dodge by physically dodging the attack, not just dodging at the correct moment

Yeah, her husband shared it when he announced the news on Tuesday (or Monday?).
