Kevin Drum calls bullshit on this specific article: https://jabberwocking.com/millennials-are-doing-fine-part-xvii/

He shows charts to establish that

Through 2021, Millennial homeownership is at its average for the past 30 years. The average mortgage payment is the same as it was for Boomers and Gen X. Income is higher than both Gen X and Baby Boomers at the same age. And average student debt is lower than either Gen X or Baby Boomers (although only 10% of Boomers have student debt compared to 20% of Millennials).

I gave up on "Last One Standing" after four episodes. That was crap, although I suspect much of the blame should go to the editors and producers for playing up fake interpersonal conflicts. But the regular show is pretty much what it always was. It has always been more about mental and emotional strength than physical survival. The survivors' real personalities come out under stress and sometimes they are not pretty. But the nice, generous ones shine through.

The tooth regrowth medicine is intended for people who lack a full set of adult teeth due to congenital factors. The team is aiming to have it ready for general use in 2030.

So, not for growing replacements for lost teeth.

...I went to the Kindle pages and read the opening chapters, just to see. And ALL TEN of them are written in first person POV. This boggles me. A couple decades ago when I was reading a lot of "how to write SF" advice, the most consistent message was "1P is a trap for noobs, don't use it!" Now it is apparently required to get a YA novel nominated. Amazing.

For example searching for Python I see there is "Python" with 10 subs, and "Python@lemmy.ml" with 100 subs.
