I always used to forget too. Now when the pasta is cooking I will get the strainer ready by putting it in the skink. I will put the measuring cup in the strainer so I will remember before pouring the water out.
I remember a time when texting was first introduced, you could only text people who used the same phone company as you.
When they made it interoperable they made a big deal out of it. They mailed a sheet of stickers with my cell number on them. They wanted you to give them out to friends to encourage them to text you.
I was amazed when I got a brand new dishwasher and realized it used less water per cycle than a flush from the old single flush toilet.

I'm so mad they're dripping season 2 in episodes one week at a time.
LEDs kind of blow me away in general. People will look back at this period and be like, "they sure did love putting LED lights on top of and on the sides of their skyscrapers just for show".
I scheduled a bunch of text to go out at midnight and they were fine. I do remember a time when both calling and texting would be delayed!
But with the exchange rate, you'll have to share it with 3 more friends just to make the same point.
