But the problem runs deeper. Sure you can hide from all those ads they display, but they can still data mine your existence and shape it with their recommendations.

consider this capitalist rivalry. openai basically undermining the writing sector. To cheapen costs NYT would have to eventually adopt this, but it basically cheapens the content produced. it is basically massed produced stuff that will eventually just be really dull. sports illustrated just recently fired their ceo for having already used ai generated stuff.

i like how they assume resource use is static throughout history and that capitalism = more time to produce because of human nature. Why didn't we overproduce the earth to death 4 million bajillion years ago?
