Escape Academy feels like trying to escape an actual escape room. The puzzles are usually well done, but achievable, and co-op works pretty well (allowing you to coordinate more than get in each other's way).

The expansion for Escape Academy is fun, but feels more like random puzzles thrown together than an actual plot/story.

Most (I think all) school vouchers only subsidize the cost of private schools. Which in turn makes the situation more dangerous for costs to escalate. Unlike with student loans (which do have a hard cap), most voucher programs are for set amounts meaning schools can price gouge more effectively.

Obiousky I won't convince you otherwise, but I would recommend reading more about how voucher programs, student loans, and equity in education work. Private schools certainly have their place, but education is fundamental to the well being of any society so changes should be taken carefully.

You should really read up more about how student loans caused the cost of college to grow so fast.

In simple terms, they pumped more money into the system. For grade school, if private schools can charge families 10k per student, if you introduce 7k vouchers, then the schools know they can charge closer to 17k. It would be silly to not leverage the vouchers as a means to siphon government money.

Who likes the casting choices? I think I've only heard criticism on the casting.

And customs should be waiving the fee, given the passengers were basically entrapped by the airline. A simple "hey we need to confiscate those apples, then you're free to go" would have made this a non-issue.

I think it's to late to change things up. That's the problem, everyone told the DNC this was going to happen and yet they all just kept with Biden.

That being said, I don't think either Trump or Biden are in a state to actually run the country. Their cabinets are going to hold all the power, and I trust Bidens cabinet over Trumps any day.

I think I can transalte: "How can he fold towels if he doesn't have a chin?"

Cause most people hold the middle part of the towel with their chin when folding.

This is the best image I could quickly find -

Why does a single player game have mtx at all? I just don't get the point of it.

Yeah, I've only ever seen this brand when it was the only option to get water, in a place where I wasn't allowed to bring my own water ಠ_ಠ

It's great seeing time and time again that no one really does understand these models and that their preconceived notions of what biases exist ends up shooting them in the foot. It truly shows that they don't really understand how systematically problematic the underlying datasets are and the repurcussions of relying on them too heavily.

Not OP, but the point of asking for an ELI5 is that sometimes you don't even know where to start. For example I clicked the link you provided and only have more questions as I don't really know what people mean by display servers, etc.

Sure I could look everything up and try to understand, but the hope is someone in the community might provide a better or faster summary than what can currently be found online.

I agree, it feels like this is a place where the law or regulation needs to come in and enforce something like - rent vs lease vs buy.

The average consumer thinks "buy" means forever, and that's just not the case in these scenarios. It really is more like leasing it.
