As long as it has enough shitpost it will attract young people. We need to shitpost more.

I posted a question on one of theses subs a few weeks ago and had mostly very generic answer that clearly didn't read all the post. I was confused at the time but it makes sense now, it was the same kind of basic trooblesooting steps by chatGPT. Reddit is doomed, there are way too much bots. We can only hope to find a solution before it spreads to the whole internet.

This isn't tv or a movie, you have a lot more competition on youtube. People will not leave a theatre, and tv is most of the time just background noise. But people will click out of a video fast. On youtube, everytimes you leave a two seconds blank, you loose a significant part of your audience. And with LTT posting 5 videos a day, of course they can't learn everything to make perfect shots when they can just cut it and appear more dynamic.

LTT is a company with more than 100 employees, they have professionnal who spend their life in analytics to make the best performing videos. That means epileptic editing with cut and effect every few seconds. And shitty thumbnail and title which I will gladly replace with this extension from now on.

Why shouldn't I care ? Some bots I loved will get shutdown, the app I use will get shutdown (boost) and the overall quality of the website will worsen (moderation bot), of course I care. I would have gladly paid to keep all of that if the price eas reasonable.

As of forcing everyone to leave, in my mind mods who have created and supported the communities unpaid have the right to destroy them. If reddit still want theses subreddit, it can recreate them, with paid mod this time hopefully. If the commumities really existed in the first place and did not migrate, they will come back.

Your ip is indeed public with soulseek. I've never heard of anyone having issues with that as soulseek is really unknown from the public but you can use a vpn to hide it.

As much as I agree with the idea behind this meme, a quick google search place the world wealth at 10 trillion and the top 8 richest at 1trillion, so 10% and not 50%.

Do people really think like that ? We are not mad because of the api being paid, we are mad because of the crazy prices. They are doing this to nuke 3rd party app, and nothing else.

Of course they have the right to do that, but we have the right to leave too. I think the warframe reddit should just be archived with a post sending here (even if reddit admin will never allow it).

Soulseek is what I use to get more obscure titles that cannot be bought anymore and aren't on spotify. It let anyone visit other people library of music, and some users share a lot.

If you want to find more stuff on it you should try it on a pc and setting up port forwarding (I don't know if it's possible with the seeker app) as without it, you can only see the content from users who port forwarded themselves.

I was a r/soulseek user, so I hope a soulseek sub will pop up somewhere here.
