I saw a white pickup truck (maybe that one) going up and down the beach last month. I flagged it down wanting to know if it was the beach patrol or just some jerk. I asked if he was with the band. In reply, he asked me if I had a status card. I said, "???". He said, "Well, I do." Like that meant something? And then he drove off in a huff? I didn't know what to make of it but I think he was saying, as a Saugeen, he can drive wherever he wants?

I celebrate the band getting control of the beach back, and support renaming the park, and even changing the sign. I'm not getting good vibes from the band government, tho. They seem to be more about flexing than about building or care-taking. Looking forward to revising my opinion.

Not with the same dollar!! You can only spend it one place. The more dollars you're spending at Spotify, the less of your money goes to the artists.

Getting the artists more money is ALL about not using Spotify.

Excess ain't rebellion.
You're drinking what they're selling.
Your self-destruction doesn't hurt them.
Your chaos won't convert them.
They're so happy to rebuild it.
You'll never really kill it.
Yeah, excess ain't rebellion.
You're drinking what they're selling.
Excess ain't rebellion.
You're drinking,
You're drinking,
You're drinking what they're selling.

Rock and Roll Lifestyle

Spotify loves you for this. And the artists can't perceive it.

I spent a lot of time playing "Return of Heracles" (1982) when I was a kid and I've been meaning to do a Let's Play. Have you played it? Was it an influence?

Eglinton Crosstown LRT Science Centre Station Renamed to the Don Valley Station in Toronto. The video discusses the closing of the Ontario Science Centre and how much it would have costed to fix the roof vs. the cost of renaming the Eglinton LRT station from the Science Centre to the Don Valley Station at Don Mills and Eglinton Ave. in North York Toronto.

Article contains significant errors. MEC was never owned by its members. If it were, we would have had a say when it was sold, voting on whether to accept the offer, and receiving a share of the payout. MEC was never actually a cooperative. I think there should be consequences for this deception. I also think there need to be more consumer cooperatives than there are. Please mention any you know below.

I'm interested in spending like 3-7 days sometime before mid June. Would anyone like to recommend or offer budget accommodations for two? We'll need a basic kitchen at the least.

Tangentially related, there was a death at the Golden Eagle at the end of last season, and even before that the owner Helen seemed conflicted about whether to keep the place. Does anyone know if they will be opening this season? I hope they are doing well.

Heartbreaking. What happened?? Randy was one of my "safe" sources of entertainment, where I knew I would not be confronted with vystopia.

He's 101 years old, a WW2 veteran, and a fascinating interview.
