Thing is... Fire sticks are loaded with ads too (at least in stock configuration, different story once you tweak or so-called "jailbreak")

As for now I just connect my Linux HTPC I grabbed for $30

Iirc it was like that since PS3 era no? That additional 256MB DRAM and CELL Processor that only worked fine for first-party/exclusive optimized games

You do have a point, the SSD is known to have very slow cache that Toms and others have reported dipping the sequential to 0MB/s

One could possibly get something like TeamGroup MP44L or SN580
