New iOS user here, coming from Android. I am looking for a simple gym log aka workout tracker. My requirements are:

  • Add exercises with a custom name.
  • Log multiple sets per exercise. Log per set: weight, and number of repetitions
  • Create workouts based on your exercises
  • Ability to start the aforementioned workout, and track the exercises/weights/reps per workout
  • Data stored on device only
  • Available in Germany

On android I used GymRoutines https://f-droid.org/packages/com.noahjutz.gymroutines/), which provides exactly the functionalities that I need. On iOS, I simply cannot find an app that either requires an account or is freemium with a very limited free plan.

I would really appreciate some recommendations. Also feel free to roast me for expecting FOSS apps or free apps on iOS.

I also recommend Deep Learning by Goodfellow. Long chapter about the mathematical foundations. I found it very insightful as side lecture during my studies. Also, the online version is free.

They also love CPU.

For a dev machine, I wouldn't go below 16GB RAM and at least a current-generation i5 (or Ryzen equivalent).

Nach den starken Kursverlusten der letzten Tage aufgrund von Qualitätsproblemen bei Gamesa ist Siemens Energy in den Schlagzeilen.

Was spräche jetzt für ein Investment?

Dagegen spricht aus meiner Sicht, dass das Ausmaß des Schadens bei Gamesa noch nicht in abschließend beziffert wurde.

Als Aktienneuling finde ich die Situation gerade sehr spannned. Allerdings fällt es mir schwer, mögliche Chancen und Risiken richtig einzuordnen. Würde mich über eure Meinung, Kontext, sowie ähnliche Fälle aus der Vergangenheit sehr freuen!

KeePass. Hab viele der hier genannten Apps durch und finde es mit Abstand am besten. Gibt verschiedene Mobile Apps und mit KeepassXC auch einen top Desktop Client für alle Plattformen.

Sync funktioniert mit ungefähr allen Cloudanbietern reibungslos.

Trenne dabei zwischen meiner Passwortdatenbank und meiner TOTP Datenbank und habe zwei verschiedene Apps dafür, weil mir die eine für OTPs besser gefällt.

Edit: Finde besonders Toll, dass die Passwörter einfach in Form einer Datei gespeichert werden. So kann man das eigentliche Passwort-Management, aka KeePass Datei, vom Cloud Anbieter zum Synchronisieren trennen. Wechsel der KeePass App bzw. des Cloudanbieters wird dadurch trivial. Fast kein Lock-In.

To give a bit of context: there have been similar discussions in the computer science community in recent years. Two examples are the master-slave paradigm in networking and the default git branch which used to be the "master" branch.

I see similar arguments here than in the aforementioned discussions, ranging from "non-issue", over "language forms reality", to "respect marginalized groups".
