Hey, does anyone know why peertube struggles to load videos smothly? is it something in the design that makes it buffer way more staggered than youtube or other streaming platforms?

fully agreed, however check out invidious.io or freetube if you want to degoogle but if theres still anything your missing

have you tried invidious.io website or freetube linux app? they are really good would recommend if you want to carry on viewing youtube but with full control
