Same thing happened to me. Also when trying something new, failing took something like gems or hearts. That made it so I only grinded the very easy lessons to get the gems and never actually using them.

The cartridge art was always so kickass. You just had to use your imagination quite a bit... in c/retrogaming@lemmy.world

Somehow this makes me sad. I have watched so much irrelevant shit that I dont know if I even enjoyed it and certainly dont remember any of watching them. Well time to find a mindless twitch vtuber so I dont need to think.

For me diabolical felt real good to play, but it was really frustrating to get in any games. Starting up epic felt real janky at the time. Idm was really fun and brought back Warsow memories. Quake seems still be somewhat relevant.
