Fledglings often end up on the ground outside of their nests. They usually spend this time poking around the ground for bugs or other things to eat while their parents are nearby. As long as it isn’t in danger of being eaten, I would leave it alone and allow it to do its thing. If it happens to be injured, I’m not sure there is anything you can do to help other than contacting a wildlife rehabilitation group.

You should educate yourself on HIV/AIDS. Your view of the syndrome is about 40 years outdated and that can be just as much of a turnoff to guys. The subject is stigmatized enough in the general public that there is not much tolerance for those views in the LGBTQ+ community. Not to mention how many gay men had to die in order to advance our understanding and treatment of the virus. It’s simple enough to do a Google search or perhaps you could talk to a trusted medical professional. The CDC website has lots of good information on the topic and there is a large advocacy campaign around “U=U” which you can find plenty of information about.
